About Barrier Island Homes
Barrier Island Homes, Inc. has been in business since 2005. We incorporated in '05 to establish the credit and validity needed to build our own home- with the hopes of maybe someday having the opportunity to grow into a true homebuilder. Finally in 2007, we got our chance to prove ourselves as a competitive homebuilder in the southeast Houston market. That project lead to a few others in 2007 and 2008 and when Hurricane Ike hit in September of 2008 our opportunities expanded exponentially.
Since Hurricane Ike, we have completed almost 20 new homes. Building a business from our own personal experience, we understand the commitment and emotional undertaking that is involved in the new construction process. And although it has become something we do everyday, we can truly appreciate that, for our clients, it is often a once in a lifetime experience. We strive to be the best at what we do and pride ourselves on customer satisfaction. It is important for us to be an advocate for our clients while also retaining good, solid relationships with our incredible team of subcontractors with whom we have worked over the past several years.
